FEMAC, The Catalan Cluster

FEMAC and the Cluster of agricultural production means in Catalonia both take up the challenge to contribute to more sustainable global agriculture. This will help to create a more competitive environment and future for companies and institutions that comprise the cluster, through innovation, internationalisation and cooperation.

In FEMAC they have created an extensive network of relationships of trust, not only among their partners, but with the innovative overall ecosystem. They work to facilitate communication in this ecosystem. FEMAC collaborates with the leading universities in Catalonia, with the Department of Agriculture of the Government of Catalonia and is a member of the Network of Association of Innovative Enterprises (AEI), Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism. Since 2013 they belong to the European Cluster Excellence Group, and they are recognized with the seal of Catalonia Clusters, by the Catalan Agency for Business and Competitiveness – ACCIÓ

Its goals are:

• Improve the competitiveness of Catalan manufacturers of agricultural production means and the different agents that make up their value chain.
• COOPERATE: In the same strategic line and share common competitive challenges.
• INNOVATE: In the design, production and marketing processes.
• INTERNATIONALIZATION: Of its productive and commercial structures.
